Who let the dogs out?

August 15th, 2008

The year was 2000. It was on every radio station on every corner of the planet. The Baha Men performed it and the song was “Who Let The Dogs Out”. You know, you remember, your ears still bleed from pain…

Baha Men(Clearly they’re not happy someone “let the dogs out” either)

After 8 long years of searching, it’s finally over! Shreveport, LA. police arrested and charged 13 year-old Todd Dimwitty of Macon, GA. with violating “Leash law”, “Unauthorized release of dangerous and vicious dogs”, and “Endangerment”…

Police found Todd skate boarding at the local Kwik Trip parking lot in Shreveport with friends when one officer noticed him. “I wus just eating my last Dolly Madison Gem off the floor when I noticed this here kid looked an awful lot, like that kid who “let the dogs out” in Georgia. I member this there computerized foto crossing my desk two weeks afore about how he mighta looked today”, said sergeant Douglas Fartlick.

The charges stem from a 1999 claim to Macon county police by Todd’s father Ross Dimwitty who said, “I never opened the cock suckin’ gate. Musta been my dumbass five-year-old Todd who done it”. Ross was charged with “Neglect”. With the help of family friends Todd went into hiding before charges could be brought against him…

Many remember the 1999 incident as the reason for the song being created by the Baja Men in the first place and with repeated play became outraged at the person who “let them out”.

While being arrested Todd shouted, “Let go, or I’ll kick you in the wenis! I was fucking five years-old man! It was an accident. I was trying to get into the front yard, and my stupid ass alcoholic redneck dad had like 30 unlicensed Pit bulls, Rottweilers, and Chihuahuas back there for no fucking reason. Charge his goofy ass!”. Sergeant Farlick snapped, “Hey kid, cause of you, all America had to listen to that fucking song over and over! You’re going away for a very long time”. Two homeless onlookers forced unenthusiastic applause…
