I intentionally stayed away from reviews, clips, and “behind the scenes”, or “first looks”. If it sucks, it sucks. After only watching the trailer, I don’t think it will…<\/p>\n
Here are some problems I will have if this movie becomes insanely popular:<\/p>\n
1) Normal people will find the sheer joy of being comic book nerds Oh yeah, and number six. The eventual “pimping out” process that will lead to this…<\/p>\n The toys will be pretty cool. They’ll be for 40 year old boys…<\/p>\n Baseball Season Baby!<\/strong><\/p>\n It’s right around the corner. This time of year always gets me excited for the noise of the ballpark. The people competing for roster spots. The possibility of a strong season. With as many people competing for a spot in three tough battles at 2nd, center, and 3rd. We also have new digs to play in…<\/p>\n Today the White Sox play the Cubs at 3:05pm in cactus league play. Last night looked like the worlds biggest Vegas bachelor party. Remember, what happens in Vegas, usually ends in a paternity suit…<\/p>\n We will have a strong team. But remember, strong teams in March don’t mean jack…<\/p>\n Get to September or October, and we’ll chat…<\/p>\n What ever team you root for, be ready because it’s “on” like a light switch. Baseball’s a lot like life. You can royally suck at things 7 out of 10 times and still keep your job!<\/p>\n Only thing is, that was probably truer a year ago. Today? Not so much…<\/p>\n Now you have to hit .500 to stick around. \n2) Nerds will now have to fill in all the roles people left behind. Stuff like the bully, the jock, the dancer, the loud guy, the obnixious gum chewer, etc.
\n3) Good looking people will now dress as these cool characters for Halloween. Before, that was only reserved for slightly overweight, Ugly Betty<\/em> types, and guys with “manel-toe”
\n4) Thinking will become cool again. But now it will force everyone at parties use the same tactics to have sex with someone
\n5) The movie will be hard to get in to see multiple times. Which is bad, because when nerds find a film they like, they must view it a minimum of 8-10 times in theaters.
