That said, I thought the movie Kick-Ass<\/em> was tanfastic…<\/p>\n I’ll spoil nothing for you, except that the star of this film is an 11 year-old girl…<\/p>\n She smokes every scene she’s in, and will blow your mind…<\/p>\n If you don’t like swearing. You won’t like this. If you don’t like cool plot twists. You won’t like this. If you don’t like comic books. You won’t like this. If you don’t like over-the-top jaw dropping insane Sin City\/Kill Bill style violence. You won’t like this. And if you don’t like a little girl being thrust into a life of uber harsh violent adults<\/p>\n YOU. WON’T. LIKE. THIS.<\/p>\n I happen to like all five because I’m demented…so it was an eye-gasim for me…<\/p>\n People who complain about this are the same type of people who bitched about Jodie Foster in Taxi Driver, or Natlie Portman in The Professional. They somehow think since they’re so good at it, the child actually IS the character. They’re not…<\/p>\n It’s called “acting” for a reason<\/p>\n It’s a movie. What makes Kick-Ass so special, is that many moment ARE true. They at least feel<\/em> true at times. It’s just that when you get to the over the top insano violence moments, not so much.
