The Chicago Bulls Derrick Rose, did something very<\/p>\n

noble. He stood up for ‘something much bigger’ than<\/p>\n

him. Three little words, “I…Can’t…Breathe”. They’re<\/p>\n

the sign of the times and times need to change. Rose<\/p>\n

wore a black t-shirt with those words. It was a single<\/p>\n

statement, & solidarity. Eric Garner being choked to<\/p>\n

death on tape is vile. The fact that the cops who did<\/p>\n

it, can never “see it that way”, IS the problem. They<\/p>\n

didn’t see a man struggling in life & wondering why<\/p>\n

they always harass just him<\/em>. They saw, a ‘black guy’<\/p>\n

\"Dennis<\/a>(Boom!)<\/p>\n

who was always up do no good. So, it might of been<\/p>\n

true once….but ask yourself, could your<\/em> kid handle<\/p>\n

that level of “consistent harassment”, judgement &<\/p>\n

still come out clean on the other side. Could YOU?!<\/p>\n

This ENTIRE issue of systemic racism’s about all of<\/p>\n

us “having” the discussion. For “people” who seek to<\/p>\n

“never discuss it”, they’ll all demand the status quo<\/p>\n

The “people” in quotes are racists. They will avoid it<\/p>\n

at all costs. Change the subject, ignore facts & reject<\/p>\n

reality. But why?! Well it’s a complex answer. For so<\/p>\n

\"keep-calm-and-hate-racism-6\"<\/a>(True)<\/p>\n

many, they just can’t relate. They don’t ever want to<\/p>\n

understand “that world”. So they make excuses and<\/p>\n

think “Well my kids aren’t like that, so something is<\/p>\n

wrong with all them”. No, humanity. If not for a few<\/p>\n

different outcomes that COULD be your kid; & until<\/p>\n

people can see others as humans beings we’re stuck<\/p>\n

Unless of course, you know<\/em> you have this “privilege”<\/p>\n

and still do not want to talk. Because that IS racism<\/p>\n
