See that party as leaderless. Meaning that 32% can’t face reality…
For Republicans who need a leader, fear not!
Try on 14 year-old Jonathan Krohn for size…
(Pin says he loves America more than you)
Here he is speaking at CPAC a few weeks ago…
Who is this lil’ fire brand? First off, Jonathan’s a trained actor reading far right talking points. He’s been performing on stage since he was eight. Inside Edition’s Debora Norville named him “Atlanta’s Most Talented Child” in 2006. As a talent client of the Robbinson Agency they even go so far as to call him “veteran actor”.
His parents Doug, a computer systems integrator, and Marla, a sales representative and former actress who teaches drama and speech to middle-school students - have been home-schooling their bright, curious son since the sixth grade. BOTH parents are strong conservatives. The plot thickens…
(Mom & Dad need a new career for Jr’s money)
“I got into politics when I was eight years old. Six years now. And I got involved because I started listening to talk radio.” What is on the radio the whole day in the background since Doug Krohn said he listened to talk radio? You guessed it, everything from Bill Bennett, to Rush-a-roni, to Insa-Hannity, and what ever other far right wing cabal they could hear…
Yay, new Hitler Youth! Did I mention he likes Sarah Palin and that he questions Obama’s birth certificate authenticity?
(Shocker!)
I just puked in my mouth. I wonder how ironic he’ll feel when he tells mom and dad he’s gay; only to have them chastise him by using his own book quotes where he supposedly railed against it…
Watchmen Review
Promised a review today, so here it be. It’s good, go see it! You’ll either like it, hate it, or have some problems understanding the plot. The key here is that it gives us all something to talk about until spring…
(Watching the watchmen with watches)
If you read the graphic novel, as I did, it will greatly help. This is oddly more of a work of art. If you’re just looking for an action super hero flick, skip it…
Netflix for you…
It’s WAY deeper on every possible level…
The characters flaws and issues are front and center, the action takes a back seat. However, when it does happen, it’s such fun, you realize how much you missed it…
(Cue 40’s megaphone music)
It’s historical, philosophical, social, relevant, political, emotional, and much more. It’s simply a very deep film on every level. The acting in some parts is sticky and campy. By sticky, it feels off, but the words are right. Campy feels right for this. It works, it honestly does…
Got to work, more tomorrow, have a day!
